UW-Whitewater names five finalists for football coach opening

WHITEWATER (WKOW) -

UW-Whitewater has narrowed it's search for a new head football coach to five candidates. The final five will interview in Whitewater in the next two weeks.

The finalists include three current head coaches and two assistants. Kevin Bullis is the only internal candidate. He was a defensive assistant for the Warhawks. UW-Platteville's defensive coordinator Rob Erickson is also a finalist.

The current head coaches in the mix include Dean Paul (Ohio Northern), Dave Taynor (Urbana) and Erik Raeburn (Wabash).

Each candidate will hold an open forum during on-campus interviews. All members of the campus and Whitewater communities are welcome to attend. All open forums will be held in room 183 of the Williams Center on the UW-Whitewater campus.

Rob Erickson – Tuesday, Jan. 20, 4:15-5:15 p.m.

Dean Paul – Thursday, Jan. 22, 4:15-5:15 p.m.

Kevin Bullis – Friday, Jan. 23, 4:15-5:15 p.m.

Dave Taynor – Monday, Jan. 26, 3:30-4:30 p.m.

Erik Raeburn – Tuesday, Jan. 27, 3:45-4:45 p.m.
