"Chedlocks" getting a cut of Packers fan profits

MEQUON (WKOW) -- The Green Bay Packers' progression to the NFC Championship game has meant profits for the  maker of one  of the latest fan gear fads.

They're called "Chedlocks", cheddar cheese dreadlocks inspired by Packers running back Eddie Lacy.

Creator Thomas Gryniewicz says he hasn't been able to keep up with orders for the handmade wool hats, since the Chedlocks went national at the December 8 game against the Falcons.

"Feedback was always good.  People always thought it was cool and clever, but once I was on "Monday Night Football" on ESPN against the Falcons this year, my phone started lighting up during the game," said Gryniewicz.

The Chedlocks are made in Mequon and available for sale online.
