Janesville Craig/Parker falls to Superior in WIAA hockey tournament

MADISON (WKOW) -

 A strong second period was not enough for the Janesville Craig/Parker boys in the WIAA state hockey tournament. The Bluebirds fell to Superior 4-2.

This game featured multiple momentum swings. Superior came out strong with two goals in the first period. The Janesville co-op responded with two goals in the second period to tied up the game. Connor Perkins and Harrison Henschler scored for Janesville. Superior controlled the third period however. They scored twice for the final margin of victory.

Janesville Craig/Parker finishes the season with a 17-9-2 record. Superior advances to play Cedarburg in the semifinals on Friday at 5 p.m.
