Badgers take practice floor in Omaha, Jackson out for weekend

Posted: Updated:
OMAHA, NE (WKOW) -- The Wisconsin men's basketball team put in its final preparations at the CenturyLink Center in Omaha on Thursday evening. The Badgers held an open practice in front of fans and media before taking on Coastal Carolina on Friday night at 8:20 pm. Speaking to reporters, senior guard Traevon Jackson confirmed he won't play this weekend. Jackson is still recovering from a fractured foot he suffered on the road at Rutgers on January 11. Jackson said he was medically cleared, but did not want to rush back too quickly. If the Badgers move on to the Sweet 16, there is a chance he could play.
