Madison leaders release PSA pleading for peace ahead of Robinson shooting decision
MADISON (WKOW) -- Leaders from Madison's African-American community have taken to YouTube to issue a plea to parents to engage in meaningful conversations with their children ahead of the Dane County District Attorney's decision on whether to press charges against the officer who shot and killed Tony Robinson on March 6th of this year.
The online video features Boy and Girls Club of Dane County CEO Michael Johnson, along with other local leaders. The group encourages youth to stay peaceful when the Robinson decision comes down. In the video, the community leaders also ask parents to discuss the situation with their children.
