Does It Work? Fur-Zoff

Posted: Updated:
MADISON (WKOW) -- Are you tired of cleaning up pet hair?  If so, there is a product on the market that will help you whisk away the pet hair.

Joann Ace-Schraufnagel has spent much of her life caring for animals.  The Oregon native grew up on her family's dairy farm looking after cows, sheep, goats and horses.

“I always wanted a dog and had to pick between a dog and a horse when I was a child, and I picked the dog,” said Ace-Schraufnagel.  “Now I have lots of dogs in my life and I just love them dearly.”

Joann spends a majority of her day with dogs.  She owns three of her own, but most of her time is spent with other people's pooches.  Joann is the General Manager at Dogtopia, a full service doggy daycare in Middleton.

We asked Joann to test out our latest product.

“It looked like a big rock or a big stone in the package,” said Ace-Schraufnagel.

The Fur-Zoff Pet Hair Removal Brush is specially designed to work on a variety of surfaces to help sweep the fur away.

“I tried it on some heavier rugs and dog beds.  Some things it worked really good on and other things it didn't really work well with,” said Ace-Schraufnagel.

The Fur-Zoff is environmentally friendly and according to the manufacturer is made from 90 percent post-consumer materials.

Joann says she understand why people would be interested in this product, because pet hair adds up quickly.

“Vacuum cleaners and lent rollers work really well around here.  It's a daily thing in this house,” said Ace-Schraufnagel.

We asked Joann to rate the Fur-Zoff Pet Removal Brush.

“On a scale of 1 to 5, I would probably give it a 3.  Right in the middle,” said Ace-Schraufnagel.

The Fur-Zoff is manufactured in La Crosse.

This product is hypoallergenic, odor-free and retails for 12.99.
