Jerry Kelly, Debbie McCormick added to Madison East Athletic Hall of Fame

 MADISON, Wisconsin. -- While the PGA Tour is out in California, people like Jerry Kelly are back in their hometown reliving their high school memories.

Today, the East High inducted 10 individuals into their Athletic Hall of Fame. Kelly, a 1985 graduate, earned 11 letters in soccer, hockey, and golf. Kelly turned pro in 1989 and won the Wisconsin State Open in 1992. He currently has three PGA Tour victories and ranks in the top 30 on the All-Time Career PGA Tour Money List.

Also inducted, four-time US National Junior Curling Champion, eight-time US National Champion and four-time Olympian Debbie (Henry) McCormick (Class of 1992); Founder/Coach Floyd Ferrill, football player Carl Blum (Class of 1925), Dr. John (Jack) Boyle (Class of 1939), Dr. Kenneth Sachtjen (Class of 1947), Gary Messner (Class of 1951), Dave Vander Meulen (Class of 1957), Greg Mattison (Class of 197), and Carol Cooper-Brennan (Class of 1975).
