UPDATE (WKOW) -- A warrant is out for the arrest of two suspects in an attempted homicide Thursday evening in Beloit.

Police say Ricardo Holloway, 20, and Morean Williams, 31, left the scene of a shooting at a gas station on Shopiere Road. The car was found Friday morning abandoned about a half-mile away.

The 22-year-old victim showed up a a hospital shortly after the incident with multiple gunshot wounds and life-threatening injuries. Police say they have yet to be able to talk to the victim to learn more information because of his condition.

Capt. Dan Risse, with Beloit police, says investigators are hoping tips from the public lead to two arrests.

"We're asking for help, either through social media, the 911 center, or even calling police directly if anyone has any information at all of where they would be," Risse tells 27 News. "We don't have any indication that they've left town, nor do we know exactly where they are."

According to an online obituary, Ricardo Holloway is the brother of Raymond Holloway, who was shot and killed in Beloit in April 2014. Police have not said whether the two crimes are connected.

This attempted homicide is one of multiple open cases police are investigating, but Risse says they involved people who are connected to each other, often trying to settle a score.

"Something triggered it. We're not sure in [Thursday's] incident what triggered it, however, the public should be aware these certainly are not random acts. These people are known to each other," says Risse.

Police say they have yet to recover the gun used in the shooting so the suspects are considered armed and dangerous.

UPDATE (WKOW) -- Beloit police have developed a second suspect in the shooting of a 22-year-old man.

Police are already looking for 20-year-old Ricardo Holloway, and now say the second suspect is 31-year-old Morean Williams.
Williams has a current warrant, for a probation violation, out for his arrest.  A felony warrant for party to the crime of attempted 1st degree intentional homicide has now been issued.

The vehicle believed to have been used during the commission of the crime was recovered abandoned in the 1600 block of Porter Avenue.  It is believed the parties involved in the incident were known to each other and this was not a random act.

The victim remains hospitalized and his name is not being released at this time until it can be determined if/when authorities will be able to speak with him or his condition changes.

The investigation continues.

UPDATE (WKOW) -- Beloit police told 27 News early Friday morning that they expect the victim of the latest shooting to be okay.

The man was shot multiple times and he was brought to the hospital with life-threatening injuries Thursday evening.

Authorities are still searching for Ricardo Holloway.

UPDATE (WKOW) -- Police have now identified a suspect in Thursday night's shooting in Beloit.

Capt. Dan Risse tells 27 News that officers are looking for 20-year-old Ricardo Holloway and he is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone one who sees him or know his whereabouts should call 911.

Holloway is wanted in connection with the shooting that sent one person to the hospital. Risse says the victim was shot multiple times and has life-threatening injuries.
"We're putting out the suspect early," Risse said. "It's not something I typically do, but we believe that the community needs to be aware that this individual is out there. And we're certainly asking for any help locating him. We need to remove him from the street."

Risse says the shooting happened just after 6 Thursday evening. Officers responded to the Citgo station in the 1800 block of Shopiere Road after report of shots fired.

Multiple cars were hit by gunshots. However, officers did not find a victim when they arrived on scene, but Risse says a short time later Beloit Memorial Hospital called to report a man with multiple gunshot wounds arrived by private vehicle.

Risse says it's too early in the investigation to say if the shooting is drug or gang related, but he did say it is not connected to last week's shooting in Beloit.

UPDATE (WKOW) -- The Citgo gas station on the 1800 block of Shopiere Road remains closed, as Beloit Police continue to investigate a shooting that happened at the business earlier Thursday evening, leaving one person injured.

Authorities have taped off the area around the gas station, where a single vehicle remains on scene of the active investigation.  Shopiere Road is open to traffic.
