WIAA Boys Tennis Wraps Up Day 2 In State Tournament

MADISON, Wisconsin (WKOW) -- Day two of the WIAA Boys Tennis State Tournament wraps up with a solid crew of local athletes advancing to tomorrow's semifinal match ups.

In Division 1 singles, Middleton's Jake Van Emborgh defeats teammate Geri Uj 6-1, 6-2.

In Division 2 singles, Edgewood's Cecil Lingard takes down Brookfield Academy's Will Conley in three, 6-3, 5-7, 6-3.

In the Division 2 doubles, Charlie Kirsh and Billy O'Brien of Edgewood knock out Isaac Hingtgen and Jake Lebreck of Notre Dame, winning in two, 6-1 and 6-4.

The state semifinals and finals will be tomorrow.
