MOUNT HOREB (WKOW) -

The Mount Horeb girls soccer team is back in familiar territory and preparing for a familiar foe. The Vikings will face Catholic Memorial in the Division 3 semifinals on Thursday at 5 p.m. in Milwaukee.

Catholic Memorial has won three straight state championships. Each year they have knocked off Mount Horeb in the championship game. Senior Lilly Iverson says the Vikings are relishing this opportunity for revenge.

"We love the easy games, get some stats in but we play soccer because we love the challenge. We want to go up against the best. Let's see who's the best this time."

Head coach Mark Newman says this experienced group is confident heading into this rematch.

"This is the hurdle that we haven't been able to get over. I think this is our best chance. This is our best team. They've kept their eye on reaching that level."
