WAUKESHA (WKOW) -- The second of two girls accused of trying to kill a classmate to please the fictional character Slender Man was in court Wednesday to try to convince a judge that her case belongs in juvenile court.
Morgan Geyser's attorney argues that the ailments she deals with are best addressed in juvenile court.
A psychologist testified that Geyser suffers from a psychotic spectrum disorder and that she is not faking a mental illness.
"She has held over time an immutable belief that Slender Man is real, that Harry Potter characters are her friends that she desperately wants to retain," said psychologist Deborah Collins. "They are her best friends."
The judge plans to make a decision on whether to move Geyser and the other suspect, Anissa Weier, to juvenile court in August.
