Janesville Craig baseball claims fourth state title

GRAND CHUTE (WKOW) -

 The Janesville Craig baseball team notched the fourth state championship in school history. The Cougars bested Kimberly 2-0 in the Division 1 title game.

McCauley Cox broke open a scoreless game in the fifth inning. He hit a two-run single that would prove to be the difference. Nick Cramer earned the win for Janesville Craig. He tossed five shutout innings. Nick Blomgren came on in relief. He allowed zero runs on two hits over the final two innings.

Janesville Craig earns it's first state championship since 1998.
