MADISON (WKOW) -- Chef and instructor Joel Olson has some tips to making your burgers juicy and delicious.
The professional with Hemmachef says start with ground chuck and the shape of the burger should be thick, but not too round. Olson says place the burger on a grill that's already heated up, and never use a spatula to flatten the burger. Don't turn the burger until it comes away from the burner easily, Olson recommends. If it sticks, he says it's not ready to be turned.
Olson also says you should keep one side of the grill hot and the other cool so you can easily move the burger in case of flare ups.
