J.J. Watt Surprises Fans At Hockey Classic, Packs a Nasty Slapshot

Posted: Updated:

MADISON, Wisconsin (WKOW) -- J.J. Watt hasn't played competitive hockey since he was 13, but he still packs a mean slapshot.

The Houston Texan was the celebrity guest for the second annual Blake Geoffrion Hockey Classic, making his grand entrance in the final minutes of the first period as a sub for two penalty shots. The former Badger scored his first against St. Louis Blue goaltender Brian Elliott, but Jessie Vetter stopped his second shot, as Watt took a tumble on to the ice.

After a round of applause, Watt posed for a picture with both teams.
