Badgers Chryst not shifting focus to Texas just yet

Posted: Updated:

MADISON, Wisconsin (WKOW) -- We are one week away from kickoff at Jerry World where Wisconsin will take on No. 3 Alabama to open the 2015 season.

The injury list that grew in the spring is now shrinking by the week. Three linemen making their return to a depleted offensive line, including redshirt sophomore Hayden Biegel.
Head coach Paul Chryst finally locked down the backup quarterback spot as redshirt junior Bart Houston will be the number 2 behind starter Joel Stave.
While the crimson tide is a huge challenger, the Badgers focus is still on fall camp.

Chryst added, "I want them to focus on camp and I think the guys did a nice job of doing that. And then yesterday kind of signified a little bit of a change and...I don't worry...and it's our job and it's my job to make sure they're ready for it.  But they know what's coming and I think they're excited for the season. I think they're excited for the kind of change of gears a little bit."

Kickoff is set for September 5 at 7 pm. WKOW will show a Badgers Pregame Special at 6:30 pm.
