Report: Packers Cobb suffered minor AC joint sprain

GREEN BAY, Wisconsin (WKOW)-- If you're the Green Bay Packers, you have all fingers crossed in hopes of making it through the rest of preseason without losing another player.
Just last week, the Pack saw Jordy Nelson's season end in just the sixth play of scrimmage.
And in last night's game, it only took three plays before another wide receiver, Randall Cobb, also went down with an injury.

In the first quarter, Cobb took a hard landing on the sidelines after trying to catch a pass from Brett Hundley.
He was slow to get up and immediately showed signs of pain. Randall left the game after that play.

NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported today, that Cobb suffered a minor AC joint sprain.
Although the injury is minor, there was no word on whether Cobb will be ready to play in week one.

Cobb did have some promising words to share after last night's loss.

"I just caught the ball and was going down to the ground, and I had a guy land on top of me,"Cobb said, "I was just jogging off the field at the end of the series, and I could feel the pain. I didn't know exactly what it was. It was discomfort, and I let Doc check it out and we went back and got X-rays. It's not what we think it could've been. We thought it could have been the collarbone or something, [but] it's not. So fortunately enough there's silver lining in it."
