MADISON (WKOW) -

After a season opening loss to Alabama, the Badgers cannot wait for a little home cooking. Wisconsin will face Miami (Ohio) at 11 a.m. on Saturday.

The Badgers have one of the best home-field advantages in college football. They are 68-7 at Camp Randall since the start of the 2004 season. Boise State is the only team in the country with a better win percentage at home. Cornerback Sojourn Shelton says the fans play a big role in that success.

"There's nothing like playing at home. The environment here is crazy. The fans here are excellent."

Wisconsin went 7-0 at home last year. That tied the school record for home wins. They have gone unbeaten at home in five of the past nine years. The Badgers haven't lost a home game to a non-conference opponent since 2003. They have a 32-game home win streak against non-conference foes. That is tied for the eighth-longest streak in NCAA history.
