VERONA (WKOW) -- A local woman is raising money for Alzheimer's research in honor of her father.
Caroline Olson is organizing a Market Day in Verona this Saturday, September 19. It's at Harriet Park on Mary Lou Street from 10 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and includes antiques, jewelry, clothing, art and much more from local businesses. Ten-percent of all proceeds of business sales will be donated to the Wisconsin Alzheimer's Institute. In addition, there will be a raffle and 100% of the raffle money will be donated as well.
Caroline's father was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease in 2013. She wanted to do something to help people and their families living with the disease. She hopes to make this an annual event.
