MADISON, Wisconsin (WKOW) -- The Badgers moved to 2 and 1 with a 28-3 win over Troy University last week, but ejections seemed to steal the spotlight on the afternoon.

Not one, but two defensive players were ejected for targeting in their non-conference matchup.
Junior Leon Jacobs was ejected in the first quarter, with sophomore Derrick Tindal being ejected in the third quarter.
Because Tindal's ejection happened in the second half, he will have to sit out the first half against Hawaii.
Tindal opened up today with his feelings on the ejection.

"Once I got up, I looked around and I was like dang that might be a flag," Tindal said after practice Wednesday," I was more upset with myself you know, if I would have wrapped my arms up and made the tackle, it wouldn't have went that far basically. We emphasize tackling every single day so as far as that I just got a little bit outside my technique and that's what happened."

But what's most frustrating to him now is the fact that he will have to watch from the sidelines in their first night game in three years.

"Just watching the teammates play, it's gonna be frustrating."
