Bright outlook greets Milwaukee Bucks on eve of camp

Posted: Updated:

ST. FRANCIS, Wis. (AP) -- The Milwaukee Bucks open training camp this week with a vastly different outlook compared to this time a year ago.
They're considered one of the up-and-coming teams in the league after a surprising 41-win campaign in 2014-15. It was the first year of what was considered a rebuilding project under new owners and a new coach.
That plan is way ahead of schedule. A new downtown arena is in the works.
Co-owner Wesley Edens has a good problem of having his patience tested between sticking with the rebuilding plan while eagerly anticipating improvement on the floor.
Coach Jason Kidd said Monday at the team's media day that the next step is becoming more consistent and learning how to handle higher expectations.
