MADISON (WKOW) -- Being back in the Kohl Center with the Bucks for training camp didn't feel like home for former Badger Marcus Landry, "it is home," he said. The Milwaukee Bucks opened up their training camp schedule on Tuesday morning in Madison as they hope to become Wisconsin's team, not just Milwaukee's team.
Landry returned to the court where he played his college ball from 2005-09 as a member of the Bucks training camp roster. He was greeted by his former coach Bo Ryan, who stopped by practice to observe. Landry's made several professional stops since his time in college and appreciated the chance to return to the place where his college career began.
"I've been around the world. I've been in various different places as far as China, Spain and France, so to find myself on this court again with all these colors around me, my favorite color is red. Like I said, to see Bo Ryan on the sideline, it's unexplainable, it leaves me speechless. I really do feel like I'm young again," Landry said.
