MADISON, Wisconsin (AJ Harrison, UW Athletics) -- Thanks to a pair of goals by Emily Clark and Annie Pankowski, the No. 3 Wisconsin women’s hockey team bulldozed Ohio State, 7-0, on Saturday in the Badgers’ home opener at LaBahn Arena.

Clark ended the contest with four points off two goals and two assists, while her linemate Pankowski scored a short-handed goal, a power-play goal and added an assist in the Badgers’ win.

Wisconsin net minder Ann-Renee Desbiens earned her 40th career win and her 18th career shutout to improve to 3-0-0 this year.

The Badgers return to the ice tomorrow to wrap up their WCHA-opening series against the Buckeyes at 2 p.m. The matchup will be nationally televised on BTN.
