Fraternity Pays it Forward: Brings Little Brothers & Sisters to Taylor Swift Concert
LEXINGTON, KY (WKOW) -- After a fraternity in Kentucky got Taylor Swift's attention for a lip-sync of her song 'Shake It Off,' they decided to pay it forward.
Swift loved the video so much, she gave each of the members of the Delta Sigma Phi-Beta Mu fraternity two tickets to her up-coming show.
They wanted to share the excitement with as many people as possible, so each brother gave their extra ticket to The Big Brothers Big Sisters Program in their community.
In all, thirty-seven little boys and girls got to go to the concert with the fraternity.
"We all thought this is just a gift and it would be a shame not to do something good with it." One brother, Barton Lynch said.
"I was happy and it was my first time going to the concert."
This isn't the first time the video has helped the fraternity give back. When the Lip-sync first went viral, the brothers used their YouTube channel to raise money for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
