American Heart Association offering program to help monitor high blood pressure

Posted: Updated:

MILWAUKEE (WKOW) -- Doctors will tell you that lowering your blood pressure as you age can help prevent heart failure, stroke and other heart problems.

There is a new program developed by the American Heart Association that will help you keep it in check.

It's called "Check, Change, Control".

The program includes an online tool called Heart-360, which helps explain and track factors that include physical activity, weight and cholesterol.

Once you know how to check and change your blood pressure, you can apply those skills to control it.

The American Health Association has a program offered in Milwaukee. Click here to get the American Heart Association website.
