MADISON (WKOW) -- When your little ones wake up Saturday morning, you can get them ready and then get breakfast with Santa.
Steve Nelson, chair of the Breakfast with Santa committee at Madison NBA, joined us on Wake Up Wisconsin Friday morning to talk about the annual event. It's being held Saturday, December 5 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Esquire Club at 1025 N. Sherman Avenue. Tickets are $4 for children and $6 for adults. The breakfast benefits local food pantries.
The menu includes pancakes, sausage, bacon, ham, scrambled eggs, juice and coffee. The first 300 children who attend will receive a gift bag.
The Northside Business Association reports that they've donated $25,000 and more than 750 pounds of food to area food pantries because of their Breakfast with Santa. Guests are also invited to bring a non-perishable food item or hygiene product to help out the pantries.
