MADISON (WKOW) -- If you're flying somewhere for the holiday, you'll have to go through new security measures.  The T.S.A is making body screenings mandatory.

The new T.S.A guidelines went into place just in time for the holidays.  Those traveling out of Dane County Regional Airport say they understand why the safety protocol was added.

"I trust them to make a reasonable decision about it, it's always a trade-off between what's efficient and what's safe, so I trust them to make a good decision, " Traveler Douglas Porter said.

Many other say after the Paris Attacks, they feel the extra security gives them peace of mind.

"I think we need all the security we can get, with what's going on these days,"  Sun Prairie's Nancy Suchomel said.

T.S.A says you can still ask for a pat-down, but it's not a guarantee.
