SUN PRAIRIE (WKOW) -- People in Sun Prairie are hoping to come up with a solution to end poverty in their community.
Sunshine Place in Sun Prairie helps out by giving food, clothes and beds to those in need, but they still need your help.
Community leaders are promoting something called, "Conversation Week," to address issues like food insecurity, housing and transportation.
More than 2,300 people live below the poverty line in Sun Prairie. On Tuesday, there will be a meeting about "Conversation Week" at the Round Table on North Bristol Street in Sun Prairie.
The meeting will start at 5:00 p.m. and is scheduled to last until 7:00 p.m.
"Conversation Week" will actually happen in March, followed by a public forum in April, where people will discuss proposed ideas.
