Grab coffee Wednesday morning and help homeless youth

Posted: Updated:

MADISON (WKOW) -- You can help homeless teenagers by doing something you probably already do every morning. It may just take a tweak in your schedule.

Briarpatch Youth Services, an organization that provides services and shelter to runaway and homeless teenagers, will benefit from a fundraiser Wednesday morning at Rosie's Coffee Bar and Bakery. Rosie's, along with You Move Me and Strategic Partners Marketing, LLC have decided to raise money for Briarpatch from 6:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the cafe, located at 4604 Monona Drive.

Anyone who donates any amount of money to Briarpatch during that time will get a warm drink; either coffee or hot chocolate! Organizers have called the event "Warm Up for a Cause on the Coldest Day of the Year."

If you can't make it to Rosie's Wednesday, Jan. 20th for the fundraiser, you can always donate to Briarpatch on your own. Or for more information about the organization and the services it provides, head to the Briarpatch website.
