MADISON (WKOW) -- As football fans gear up for the Super Bowl, a local organization is hoping you'll also come out for the "Souper Bowl."
On Tuesday, Lauren Prazuch and Erin Rieser with Habitat for Humanity stopped by Wake Up Wisconsin to talk about the upcoming event.
The Saturday meal is at Madison West High School from 2 to 8 p.m. All funds raised will go to build Habitat for Humanity homes right here in Dane County. It typically draws a crowd of over 1,200 people. For $15 you can get a hand-made ceramic bowl from local artists and students, soup donated from Madison restaurants, bread, salad and dessert!
Larger and more decorative bowls are sold at a silent Pro Bowl auction.
The student chapter of Habitat for Humanity of Dane County is currently building its 16th student build home in West Madison.
