THERESA (WKOW) -- Wisconsin has a long history of cheesemaking and much of it is passed down from generation to generation.
For Joe and Joey Widmer of Widmer's Cheese Cellars in Theresa. After making cheese for more than 36 years, Joe shares his knowledge with his son.
Joe says, "He helped when he was younger and everything and then he went off to college, and came back with a degree in business, and he's trying it out to see if this is truly what he wants to do." Joey says he's 98% sure that he will carry on the cheesemaking legacy.
Joey says, "I don't know if I could come up with a new cheese because there's so much cheese out there. But we could definitely try making a Gouda or something!"
