Wisconsin men’s hockey edged by Penn State

MADISON, Wis. – Starting his first game since October, senior goaltender Adam Miller stopped 28 of 30 shots, but Wisconsin (6-17-8, 1-12-4-2 Big Ten) dropped a 2-1 decision to No. 14 Penn State (20-9-4, 10-6-1-1 Big Ten) at the Kohl Center on Friday.

Wisconsin had numerous chances throughout the game, but could only convert once, hitting the post three times in the process.

·        Freshman Luke Kunin scored UW’s lone goal, in the first period, scoring for the sixth time in six games for his team-leading 16th tally of the season.

·        PSU outshot UW, 30-27. Penn State went 1-for-1 on the power play, while UW was 0-for-1.
