Madison community theater production a "dramedy" about stamp collecting
MADISON (WKOW) -- When you think "risky business,” stamp collecting probably isn't the first thing that pops into your head. But it's at the center of the plot of "Mauritius,” opening this week here in Madison.
Described as a “dramedy,” Mauritius is about a woman who inherits her mother's stamp collection. Then a fight ensues between her half-sister, and three high-stakes collectors.
The writer, Theresa Rebeck, wrote for NYPD Blue and Law & Order: Criminal Intent.
The play will be Thursday March 10 through Sunday March 13, and Thursday March 17 to Saturday March 19 at the Bartell Theatre. For ticket information, click here.
