Cameron to take on four-time defending champs Dominican in D4 State Finals

MADISON, Wis. (WKOW) -- The first day of the Boys State Basketball Tournament wrapped up with a slam-dunk.

Cameron and Amherst were neck-in-neck for nearly all of their Division 4 semifinal match-up, until the Comets went for the Hail Mary with 10 seconds left in regulation. Off the inbounds and up by one, Cameron tossed the ball half the court to Peyton Dibble who blew away the Falcons press and finished with a two-handed jam, sealing the 44-41 victory.

The Comets will take on four-time defending champ Dominican, who cleared Aquinas 54-46 earlier Thursday night.
