JANESVILLE (WKOW) -- A litter of terrier mix puppies at the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin are in need of good homes, so a few of them stopped by the WKOW studios to visit with the Wake Up Wisconsin crew.
Rachel Patterson brought along Bracket, Arizona and Cinci on her visit. Their siblings Fresno and Indiana, along with a sixth sibling (who is on hold at the shelter) were all born recently. The nine-week-old puppies were very well-behaved for the television debut, but Patterson stresses they'll need a lot of training from whoever adopts them!
The shelter is also getting ready for its annual meeting on April 27th at 6:30 p.m. at The Armory in Janesville, where it will tell the public what it took to officially make it a no-kill shelter. To learn more about that, or see the new puppies for yourself, head to this website.
