Brust, Kaminsky's father show up at Badgers pep rally in Philly

PHILADELPHIA (WKOW) -- A few hundred Badgers fans gathered at the Xfinity Live! Center in Philadelphia Friday evening for the Badgers pregame pep rally. The UW pep band, along with cheerleaders got the crowd riled up a couple hours before the Badgers game with Notre Dame in the Sweet 16 at the Wells Fargo Center.

Among the people at the rally were former Badgers guard Ben Brust and Frank Kaminsky II, the father of former Badger Frank Kaminsky. Both guys were extremely impressed with the job Wisconsin head coach Greg Gard has done with the current Badgers, getting the program to its third straight Sweet 16.

"He laid a foundation in two, three weeks. The players believed in it and here we are in Philadelphia in the Sweet Sixteen. This is unbelievable," Brust said.
"I think it's been awesome. Coach Gard has done a tremendous job with these young men. Bo set the table, and Coach Gard brought them home. It's pretty cool what's going on," Frank Kaminsky II said.
