JANESVILLE (WKOW) -- A cat found with frostbite is in need of a warm, loving home.
Wylie is five-years old. He is currently being cared for at the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin. The frostbite caused him to lose some of his ears and tail. "He may look a little funny but this guy has a heart of gold!" says Rachel Patterson, the volunteer and special events coordinator at the shelter. "He is very sweet and does great with other cats and just wants love and attention."
If you are interested in adopting Wylie or one of the other pets at the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin, you can call them at (608) 752-5622 or visit their location on S. Arch St. in Janesville.
Friday morning on Wake Up Wisconsin, Patterson also mentioned a microchip clinic the organization is offering later in the month. On April 23 and 24, microchips will be offered for $15 and nail trims for $10. You can call the shelter to schedule your appointment.
