Badgers head coach Paul Chryst has added a familiar face to the roster. His former running back at Pitt is transferring to Wisconsin. Chris James announced on Twitter Friday he had officially been accepted to the school.

"Officially a Badger!! Words can't even describe how happy and grateful I am."

Chryst recruited James to Pittsburgh. The 5'11", 210-pound running back rushed for 437 yards and four touchdowns. However, his carrries diminished in his second season. He ran for just 253 yards as a sophomore.

James will have to sit out the 2016 season due to NCAA transfer rules. He will have two seasons of eligibility remaining after that. The Badgers will be graduating Corey Clement and Dare Ogunbowale after this season.
