The Packers made a flurry of roster moves on Monday. The team signed six rookies including second-round pick Jason Spriggs. They also released five players including veteran defensive tackle Josh Boyd.

In addition to signing Spriggs, the Packers agreed to terms with tight end Casey Pierce, defensive tackle Demetris Anderson, running back Brandon Burks, fullback Alstevis Squirewell and guard Cory Tucker.

Boyd was sent packing after appearing in 26 games with four starts over three seasons in Green Bay. He was originally a fifth-round pick in 2013. In addition to cutting Boyd, the Packers parted ways with defensive tackle William Campbell, tight end David Grinnage, wide receiver Dennis Parks and tackle Jeremy Vujnovich.
