MADISON (WKOW) -- More than 85 million people around the world have experienced the phenomenon of Disney’s The Lion King.

The show is currently in the middle of a four week run at the Overture Center in Madison.  Recently, Wake Up Wisconsin's Brandon Taylor got a backstage pass to see how the actors prepare for the show.

Jennifer Ivey is the Hair and Make-Up Supervisor for the show.  Ivey has been touring with Disney's The Lion King for more than 12 years and transformed Brandon into Scar, the villain of the show.

Watch the video clip above to see the dramatic transformation.

Patrick Brown has played the role of Scar for more than 5 years.  He says he enjoys playing the sarcastic villain.  Both Ivey and Brown say through the daily make-up process they have formed a strong friendship.  The two often travel together on vacation.
