Sen. Shilling discusses 2016 State Senate races on Capital City Sunday

Posted: Updated:

MADISON (WKOW) -- Wisconsin Senate Minority Leader Jennifer Shilling (D-La Crosse) discussed her party's chances of taking back the majority in that chamber in this year's fall elections, as well as a possible run for Governor in 2018 on Capital City Sunday this week.

Peter Skopec, director of the Wisconsin Public Interest Research Group (WISPIRG) also joined host Greg Neumann to discuss the state's transportation funding situation. Skopec's group argues that more revenue isn't needed for roads, but that current revenue just needs to be spent on maintenance and not expansion projects.

This edition of Capital City Sunday aired on June 5.
