Verona softball team's season ends in state loss to Watertown

MADISON (WKOW) -

The Verona softball team's season came to an end in the WIAA state quarterfinals. The Wildcats fell to Watertown 7-1 at Goodman Diamond.

Ellee Jensen led the way for Watertown. She threw a complete game, only allowing one run on three hits. She also had four hits in the contest.

Emily Osiecki drove in the lone Verona run in the seventh inning. Verona ends the season with a 22-7 record.
