OREGON (WKOW) -- For the seventh straight year Packers head coach Mike McCarthy raised big money for the American Family Children's Hospital by holding his annual Mike and Jessica McCarthy Golf Invitational. McCarthy and several guests tee'd off Monday morning at the Legend of Bergamont Golf Course in Oregon. The event raised $440,000 for the hospital this year. It has raised $1.8 million over its seven year run.
"It's been very rewarding. It's been an honor and a privilege to try and help these families and these children and definitely to the betterment of the American Family Children's Hospital. So we feel great about what we've done in these first seven years. We built this charity to be bigger and stronger every single year. It's raising money to make sure the hospital has the resources to continue to support these children and their families," McCarthy said,
