Ithaca baseball to play for D4 state title for 2nd year in a row

GRAND CHUTE (WKOW) -- For the second year in a row the Ithaca baseball team will play in the Division 4 state championship game. The Bulldogs sealed the trip after defeating Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran 6-2 in the semifinals on Wednesday morning. Ithaca fell behind 1-0 in the first inning, but scored five runs in the second and third innings combined to take the lead for good. Bulldog pitcher Jacob Huebsch pitched all seven innings, allowing just one earned run, striking out 12. Ithaca moves on to face Rib Lake on Thursday at 9 am, as the Bulldogs aim for their first baseball title in school history.
