MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WKOW) -- Jen Brien and MaKena Fanning did what they do best for the Oregon Panthers: score goals.
The two seniors notched second-half goals against Pulaski on Friday afternoon to put the Panthers back in the Division 2 title fight.
The Panthers out-shot the Red Raiders seven to three in the first half, but neither team found the back of the net heading into halftime.
It wasn't until the 65th minute that the Panthers struck gold. Meagan Brakob won the ball at half field, turned and found Brien open in the lane. Brien split two defenders before driving the ball into the right corner pocket with her left foot.
12 minutes later, Brien flew down the right sideline, hitting a low cross to Fannings' right foot. She turned over her left shoulder, finding the far post and the Panther's second goal.
Junior Abby Breitbach had three saves in the shutout.
Oregon will face either Waukesha West or Homestead on Saturday at 3 p.m.
