New HIV medical home opens in Madison - WKOW 27: Madison, WI Breaking News, Weather and Sports

MADISON (WKOW) -- The Aids Resource Center of Wisconsin opened its new HIV medical home on Williamson Street in Madison.
    The center's president says it's a place where people with HIV or people at risk of contracting the virus that causes AIDS, can go for medical, dental, mental health and social services all in one place.
"This facility is really designed to make sure that nobody in our community goes without the health care and social services they need to live a long and healthy life," said Michael Gifford.
    He says the home is the only one of its kind that's been recognized by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services anywhere in the country.
