High school student organizes run/walk to benefit Clinton Food Pantry

Posted: Updated:

CLINTON (WKOW) -- A high school junior is organizing a run/walk to benefit the Clinton Community Outreach Program's Food Pantry once again this year.

Brice Enright put together the Forge for Food 5K Run/ 2-Mile Walk last year for the first time. He's doing it again for 2016. The event will be Saturday, July 16 at 9:00 a.m. at Carver's Roehl Park (4907 South Carvers Rock Rd. in Clinton). Brice and his family have volunteered for the food pantry and when it fell on hard times a few years ago, he decided to do something. Since he runs cross country, a race seemed like the perfect thing.

Registration is $25 and checks can be made to First Baptist Church (which runs the Clinton Community Outreach Program). You can mail checks to 10537 E. Creek Road in Clinton, WI 53525. If you have questions, call (608) 774-3746. You can find more information by clicking on this website.
