Pritzl working his way back to the Badgers

Posted: Updated:

The Badgers men's basketball team is in the midst of their summer workout routine. For Brevin Pritzl, that means a chance to continue his progression towards returning to the court. The De Pere native only played in one game for Wisconsin as a freshman due to a broken foot. It's been a lengthy injury that is still healing.

"I feel a lot better than I ever have. I've battled a lot of injuries the last year now. It feels good to finally be out there playing with the team. Right now, I'm playing a little bit and practicing, doing whatever I can. I'm still on a couple restrictions to make sure I don't do too much. I'm trying to make sure I stay healthy."

Pritzl broke his foot in August. The 6'3" guard attempted to return in the middle of the season. However, he re-injured the foot after playing just four minutes in one game. The sharpshooter will be listed as a sophomore this upcoming season. Although, Pritzl is hoping the NCAA will count last season as a redshirt year.
