Darlington's Johnson commits to Badgers

DARLINGTON (WKOW) -

Hunter Johnson has one more season at Darlington to try to bring home that elusive state championship. After that, he plans to help the Badgers chase a championship. The Darlington star announced on Twitter he has committed to being a preferred walk-on at Wisconsin.

"Humbled and Blessed to announce that I have committed to the University of Wisconsin. #OnWisconsin"

As a junior, Johnson led the Redbirds to a third-straight state runner-up finish. He rushed for 2,177 yards and 39 touchdowns.
