MADISON (WKOW) -- For fall 2016, new fashion trends have a taste of some old flavor.
Staples from the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s are creeping their ways back into stores.
From the 1970s, wide-legged pants are making a comeback for the ladies, instead of the skinny jeans we've been seeing for a few years now. Fashion designers are pairing them with peasant tops.
"Athleisure" is what's back from the 1980s. In stores you'll see jogger pants for guys and, again, leggings for girls, along with bright colors.
Remember those 90s prints? You'll see those back this fall for guys. Also the 90s hip-hop style, like high-top shoes, will be popular too.
Saturday morning on Wake Up Wisconsin, Bonnie Hertel, General Manager at Johnson Creek Premium Outlets, stopped by our studios to demo some of these styles. You can catch more of her interview in the video version of this story, or check out the clothes for yourself in person at Johnson Creek Premium Outlets, at exit 267 off I-94 between Madison and Milwaukee.
