JANESVILLE (WKOW) -- The Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin has a sweet, energetic dog who's been waiting for a new home.
On Friday, Rachel Patterson with the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin stopped by Wake Up Wisconsin to show off our pet of the week.
Buddy is a very active a 7-year-old Jack Russell Terrier who we first met earlier this summer.
Patterson says Buddy has had a pretty busy life these last four years. In August of 2011 he came to the shelter as a stray and his owners came to get him within a few days. Then, in May of 2015, Buddy came back to the shelter, but they weren't able to track down a current owner. Buddy was put up for adoption multiple times, but always tends to find his way back to the shelter.
Patterson also mentioned the humane society has a rabies and microchip clinic coming up August 27 and 28.
Microchips are $15 and nail trims and rabies shots are $10 each. People can reserve their spot by calling the shelter at (608) 752-5622.
